I am excited to be a part of the board for this amazing school! I have worked in the Accounting/Finance field for 30+ years – including large telecommunications firms, a “Big 5” consulting firm, and finally in my own small business. I have an MBA, and have taught Business, Finance and Accounting at the college level.

I’ve also previously served on the board of a charter school, as well as the boards of some non profit organizations. I look forward to being involved in the Alpine Academy community, and to learning more about the school and the programs it offers.

I have lived in Reno, NV for the past 3 years. I have 2 husky dogs that I love to walk, hike with and explore the beautiful trails here in Nevada. I  have worked in education for the past 25 years and I’m currently an Instructional Assistant at Pinecrest Academy in Sparks, NV.

It is my honor to serve as a board member for Alpine Academy high School. Serving on the board is fulfilling my  desire to give back to the community and ensure the goals, policies and visions of Alpine Academy are effective and successful. My belief is that every student deserves the highest quality of education possible and that they will be valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential and be successful.
